About Duout
Duout (spelled D-U-O-U-T) is a dating app for iPhone designed to get you on an actual date. Most dating apps are built to keep you swiping and chatting. Duout is built for what comes after: a place and a time you both accept, then the date.
Where the name comes from
The name Duout comes from du, meaning two, and out, as in going out: two people going out on a date. Pronounced du-out: du is your match, out is the date. Duout is not Dugout, Duet or Duat.
How Duout works
- Match. Like someone. If they like you back, you're a Duo, and you can chat.
- Plan a Duout. Pick a café or restaurant and a time.
- Both accept. The plan is only set when you both accept it. Then you go on the date.
What we stand for
- Public places only. Every Duout is at a public café or restaurant.
- Verified profiles. Every profile on Duout is verified with a selfie check.
- Both people say yes. A Duout is never set by one person alone.
- Free. Duout is free.
- Adults only. Duout is 18+ only.
