Terms of Use
These terms explain the rules for using duout.com and the Duout app. Duout is a dating app designed to get people from a match to an actual date, and these rules are there so it works for everyone. The same rules apply to every member. By joining the waitlist or using Duout, you agree to them.
Who can use Duout
- You must be 18 or older. Duout is for adults only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation; see our Child safety standards.
- You must be able to agree to these terms under the law that applies to you.
- You use Duout as yourself. One person, one account, in your own name.
Your profile
- Be honest. Use your real age and recent photos of yourself. Don't pretend to be someone else.
- Profile verification is mandatory. Every profile on Duout is verified, and you'll need to complete verification to use the app.
- Keep it yours. Don't share your account or let someone else use it.
- Only post what you have the right to post. Don't upload photos or content that belong to someone else without their permission.
Respectful behaviour and acceptable use
Duout is about real dates between people who both want to be there. On Duout, and when you meet someone through it, don't:
- harass, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone;
- post or send hate speech, or content that targets people for who they are;
- send sexual content to someone who hasn't asked for it;
- ask anyone for money, gift cards, investments or financial details, or run scams;
- pressure anyone into a date, a place or anything else they haven't agreed to;
- share someone else's private information, photos or messages without their permission;
- use Duout to advertise, sell or recruit;
- use bots, scripts or fake accounts, or try to get around our systems;
- break the law.
Anyone can change their mind about a date, and anyone can leave a date at any time.
Account suspension and termination
If someone breaks these terms, Duout may limit, suspend or remove their account. You can stop using Duout and delete your account at any time; see Delete your Duout account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Duout grows, for example when the app launches. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
